I ring up the order on my phone and they simply tap their card, then we all do a happy dance (literally almost every time haha people seem excited about tapping to pay at a small outdoor market.)

When you sign up for the Shopify Basic Plan at $29us/month you get access to Shopify POS Lite. This version of the POS is perfect for popups, markets and other quick sales to use with a tap and chip reader. If you are a brick and mortar store you will need the full setup for your retail store including the POS Pro plan which is an additional $89us/month.
